All New Techniques for March!

This month, I chose to offer a workshop where everyone bought the stamp set I chose to demonstrate. They all made 4 cards using their stamp set to make them. This made the workshop a lot easier because no one had to share or wait for stamps to become available. I chose the "Three Little Words" stamp set because it's versatile and offers many "sayings" to use for different occasions as well.

The first card used the Sweet Always paper featuring the colors of Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Regal Rose and Whisper White. I also featured the new grommets from the March to June 2009 mini catalog.

The next card used a technique I've never used before, the Shaker Card. This card was the class favorite! It's so fun and very easy to do, but it can get messy if you're not careful! I do not recommend mailing this card as it could easily get ruined through USPS processing. I used a friend's color challenge: Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip and Apricot Appeal.

Our third card was a challenge from one of my friends to "go retro". So I used Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss, Taken with Teal and Chocolate Chip. This card was very fun and easy to make!

Our last card was a technique I've been waiting to use, the Acetate Card. I used overhead transparencies as the base of the card and then decorated with the Parisian Breeze paper featuring the colors of Kraft, Chocolate Chip and Baja Breeze. I also featured the grommet on this card as well! This card was my personal favorite!
